In this role, you will act as a critical bridge between security strategy and technical execution, helping shape how enterprise-grade security solutions are evaluated, selected, and adopted. You will operate in a highly technical, cloud-native environment, working with advanced infrastructure, AI-driven workloads, and modern security architectures. Your work will directly influence security posture, risk management, and regulatory readiness across the organization. This position combines deep hands-on technical validation with strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with security, engineering, and platform teams to enable scalable and resilient security solutions. The role offers high ownership, technical depth, and strong visibility across the business.
Accountabilities:
- Analyze customer expectations, threat models, and regulatory requirements to define clear functional and non-functional security solution criteria
- Research and evaluate the security technology landscape, identifying suitable vendors across domains such as cloud security, identity, data protection, endpoint security, and container security
- Perform thorough vendor due diligence, assessing technical capabilities, integration feasibility, compliance posture, and long-term viability
- Design, plan, and execute complex Proof-of-Concepts with clear success metrics, realistic threat scenarios, and measurable outcomes
- Build and manage isolated PoC environments that mirror production systems, including cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and IaC-based deployments
- Execute hands-on testing, security simulations, and feature validation, documenting findings, risks, and comparative insights
- Present data-driven recommendations to leadership and collaborate with engineering teams to transition validated solutions into implementation
Requirements:
At least 6 years of experience in security engineering, security architecture, or security research roles with a strong focus on solution validationDeep knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, including public cloud platforms, containerized workloads, identity-centric security, and infrastructure as codeStrong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Python or Go, with experience automating tests and integrating security tools via APIs or CI/CD pipelinesHands-on experience deploying, testing, and evaluating enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, or secrets management toolsProven ability to independently design and execute technical Proof-of-Concepts with quantitative success criteriaExcellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business and risk-based recommendationsExperience in cloud-focused or compliance-driven environments and relevant security or cloud certifications are considered strong advantagesBenefits:
