Accountabilities:
- Partnering with distributed engineering teams to design, implement, and scale cloud-native infrastructure supporting platform enhancements and new features.
- Architecting, building, and maintaining Kubernetes-based environments for production systems, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
- Leading Infrastructure as Code initiatives, primarily using Terraform, to automate provisioning and maintain environment consistency across cloud platforms.
- Designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment reliability, velocity, and developer experience.
- Integrating and operationalizing MLOps practices for efficient deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of machine learning workflows.
- Embedding DevSecOps practices, including security controls, compliance, and continuous monitoring.
- Driving automation initiatives to reduce manual processes, improve reliability, and streamline operations.
- Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements to optimize availability and cost efficiency.
- Supporting incident response, root cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings deep DevOps expertise and a proactive mindset for building scalable, reliable systems. Required qualifications include:
- Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and cloud platforms.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps workflows.
- Expertise in Linux systems administration, including performance tuning, security, and networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming to support automation (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience with MLOps practices and workflow integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience supporting remote, distributed engineering teams.
