Tecna, as a part of Eurofins Technologies multi-national network, has the goal of developing and validating reliable industrial solutions for food safety assessment. It has been producing several immunoassays based on different technologies since 25 years, and keeps growing its catalogue portfolio with novel assays and applications to cover the food industry necessities of analysing chemical contaminants in ingredients and finished products. Applications need to be fast, easy, reliable and possibly safe for the personnel involved in routine implementation of analysis. In other words, the sample preparation and contaminants extraction from food matrices must be arranged through robust, simple and quick procedures, being ideally able to extract multiple contaminants in one single preparation, and being solvent – free or at least non-toxic.

NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES

 

OVERALL OBJECTIVES: As part of the IT Infrastructure Support Team for Eurofins Environment Testing Europe, you will join a growing international team to work on maintenance of newly deployed segregated IT User Zones and Application Availability Groups Cloud infrastructure. Your role will be to support daily Cloud operations tasks and to design & implement new infrastructure or migrate the existing components to Azure cloud. You will collaborate with number of different IT Support and Delivery Teams on daily basis. It will require strong Azure virtualization, O365, AD, Identity & Access, Security and Networking skills. Open mind and ability to cooperate with multiple individuals in a multicultural environment is essential.

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Azure based cloud infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and uptime
  • Manage and administer Azure Active Directory (AAD) environments, including user and group management, access policies, and conditional access
  • Support and optimize Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related collaboration tools
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to automate cloud resource provisioning
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure health, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root cause analysis to improve reliability
  • Collaborate with compute and network teams, as well as application owners at the international corporate level to support compute capacity planning and optimization and best meet business requirements in terms of security, cost, and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce identity and access management (IAM) best practices and compliance policies
  • Implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other scripting languages to streamline cloud operations
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge sharing within the cloud operations team
  • Maintain detailed documentation of cloud configurations, workflows, and operational runbooks
  • Stay current with Azure platform updates, emerging technologies, and industry best practices

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

An ideal candidate should have strong experience in all of the below:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7–10+ years of IT infrastructure or operations experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior cloud operations or cloud engineering leadership role
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure in Azure at scale
  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Strong experience with MS Active Directory administration (GPO, gMSA, SPN, KRBTGT, tiering model)
  • Sound knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, Subscriptions, Resource Groups, Storage Accounts, Azure AD Connect, Azure Policies, Conditional Policies, Azure Virtual Desktop
  • Good experience with O365 & Exchange Online (Licensing, Administration, Exchange management)
  • Proven Azure Networking & Security knowledge: VNETs, Subnets, Peering, Network Security Groups)
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and IAM concepts
  • Expertise in automation, configuration management, and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cloud security and compliance programs
  • Excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation
  • Very good command of English written and spoken
  • Ability to present technical projects on meetings
  • Accustomed to using ITSM tools (e.g. BMC Helix)

 

PREFERRED SKILS:

  • Experience with Azure AD Connect, Azure Identity Protection, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
  • Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization strategies
  • Bastion understanding
  • Other cloud vendors experience (AWS, GCP etc.)
  • Microsoft certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
