Job Summary:
- The Security Operations Assistant will support physical security operational tasks while delivering excellent customer service. This role involves serving as a security escort for employees, supporting our reception and visitor management processes, and assisting with badges. The ideal candidate has great customer service skills and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Provide security escort to employees, by foot or golf cart, as they travel between buildings or to their vehicles.
- Provide escort within our work areas for visitors who require an escort.
- Assist with visitor check-in processes.
- Assist with issuing badges to employees and visitors.
- Collaborate with the Physical Security Operations, Workplace, and Facilities teams to report malfunctions, conduct troubleshooting, and implement fixes as necessary.
- Implement and maintain a culture of customer service excellence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to legally drive a golf cart.
- Ability to walk up to .5 miles, multiple times a day in various weather conditions.
- English language proficiency.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to diffuse a situation.
Work Environment
- This role will require you to work outdoors.
Physical Demands:
- Walking up to .5 miles between buildings and parking lots.
- Remaining outside for up to 45 minutes in the heat or cold.
