Job Description

THIS POSITION WILL BE CONTINGENT UPON AWARD OF CONTRACT.

• Manage patrol operations, shift schedules, and coverage requirements.
• Direct communication with TMCs and FHP to coordinate efficient incident response.
• Conduct field spot checks, performance reviews, and safety audits of Operators.
• Monitor real-time AVL and SunGuide® data to track response times and performance.
• Support the “90-Minute Open Roads Policy” goal by coordinating rapid incident clearance.
• Provide guidance during incidents and step in for operator duties when necessary.
• Oversee fleet readiness, equipment resupply, and incident documentation.

Qualifications

• Have at least three (3) years of experience working as a RRSP Supervisor or five (5) years of experience working as a RRSP Operator in the field. Years on a contract similar in service may qualify.
• Strong background in traffic control, roadway safety, or incident management.
• Advanced MOT certification; First Aid/CPR certified.
• Proficient with AVL systems, SunGuide®, and basic digital reporting tools.
• Ability to operate in demanding roadside environments and make quick, sound decisions.
