Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Risk Mitigation Specialist Team Lead assessing contractor compliance with the physical security requirements of sensitive Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) contractors who manufacture, test, store, or transport for the Department of Defense. They will oversee and manage a team of specialists responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies to address potential threats posed by foreign ownership, control, or influence (FOCI). This role involves leading the team in conducting comprehensive risk assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate directly with the PM and Deputy Chiefs for performance planning, training, targets, and results.
- Lead and manage a team of Risk Mitigation Specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and oversee risk management strategies addressing identified risk indicators.
- Ensure all risk management strategies meet prescribed quality standards and contain the appropriate focus, depth, and breadth of information.
- Engage with contractors and stakeholders to negotiate and implement risk management solutions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on complying with risk management requirements.
- Conduct peer reviews of risk management strategies drafted by less experienced team members.
- Monitor individual and team performance metrics against established key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide timely dissemination of individual and team performance metrics to supervisors.
- Respond to requests for information from internal and external government customers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, including CFR 32, Part 117 (NISPOM), Executive Orders, DoD Instructions, and relevant public laws.
- Support the development and day-to-day operations of risk management processes.
- Document and improve processes and procedures to optimize team performance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management, security, intelligence, finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 8 years’ of experience in risk management or treatment, competitive intelligence, commercial due diligence, finance, or mergers and acquisitions.
- 8 years’ of experience in applying analytical standards to business intelligence, and security or intelligence data
- 8 years’ of experience identifying trends, patterns, anomalies, recommended solutions, and implementing solutions
