Lead Information Security Director - Remote

This critical role involves leading the organization's efforts to safeguard digital assets while maintaining the reliability and efficiency of its IT infrastructure. You will oversee enterprise-wide information security programs and manage core IT operations, aligning technology strategies with organizational goals. This position demands a visionary leader who champions security within an innovative technology framework, particularly in AI and SaaS environments. Accountabilities
- Manage and influence both physical and cyber security risk to protect the organization and its stakeholders.
- Support the development and execution of the information security strategy.
- Implement and maintain security governance processes and compliance initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day security operations including monitoring and incident response.
- Partner with IT and Engineering teams to embed security in the software development lifecycle.
- Assist in defining cloud and SaaS security practices.
- Manage third-party security risk assessments.
- Drive security awareness and training programs.
- Provide regular reporting on security posture and incidents.
- Manage global technology device processes including onboarding and maintenance.
- Ensure internal IT networks are stable and up-to-date.
- Lead IT Support functions to address hardware and software needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years in information security roles, with 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing security policies in a SaaS environment.
- Hands-on experience with application and product security.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles.
- Demonstrated incident response and vulnerability management experience.
- Excellent communication skills to convey security concepts effectively.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
