This role provides a hands-on opportunity to support and enhance enterprise IT and security operations within a fast-growing, security-focused technology environment. You will troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain cloud and SaaS systems while contributing to automation, tooling, and operational improvements that scale across the organization. Daily tasks will include system health monitoring, IT support, and collaborating on projects that strengthen platform reliability and efficiency. You will work with globally distributed teams, providing thoughtful end-user support and helping implement strategic initiatives that leverage automation and modern infrastructure practices. This position is ideal for a proactive, technically skilled individual who enjoys both problem-solving and process improvement in a remote-first, innovation-driven environment.
Accountabilities:
- Monitor and maintain enterprise IT and security system health, performing checklists, infrastructure health checks, and compliance verification.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, document resolutions, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Provide empathetic, proactive IT support across systems, hardware, and software for globally distributed teams.
- Prioritize support tickets and align timelines with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to automation, DevOps, and InfraOps initiatives, including scripting, dashboards, and operational tooling improvements.
- Support IT and security projects, collaborating cross-functionally to implement platform enhancements and process improvements.
- Maintain organized documentation and feed insights into long-term strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Practical experience with modern system administration in cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., GCP) and SaaS environments.
- Strong understanding of identity and access management (e.g., Okta), including SSO/MFA, SCIM, and RBAC.
- Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms (e.g., Zapier, N8N) for streamlining workflows.
- Experience managing enterprise SaaS applications in security-conscious or high-growth environments.
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation and operational support.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, or willingness to learn.
- Experience supporting laptop fleets (macOS, ChromeOS) and providing end-user support across distributed teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
