We are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer, to become a valuable addition to our dynamic team!
Responsibilities:
- Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure software delivery.
- Design and implement automated security controls across development, build, and deployment processes.
- Perform security assessments, including static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and dependency vulnerability scanning.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and manage secrets management, identity and access controls, and encryption mechanisms.
- Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and support threat modeling activities.
- Promote secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams.
- Maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.
Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, cybersecurity, or DevSecOps roles.
- Strong understanding of application security principles and secure SDLC practices.
- Experience with security testing tools ( SAST, DAST, SCA tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, or OWASP ZAP).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with cloud security in platforms such as OCI, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of container security and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, and encryption techniques.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks ( ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2) is required.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Certifications in CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CKS, CKA, Docker and Terraform (some required).
- AWS Certified Security or Azure Security Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
- Must have experience working for US clients
