Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Consultant, IT Security to join our team in Singapore. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and implementing robust security measures to safeguard our organization's IT infrastructure and assets.

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the protection of our systems and data
• Conduct risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies
• Design and implement security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access management solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into application development, infrastructure design, and business processes
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices, and recommend appropriate security solutions
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including local data protection and cybersecurity regulations in Singapore
• Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Consultant or a senior role in IT security, with a strong technical background
• Extensive knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies, including network security, application security, risk assessment, and security protocols
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Strong project management and leadership abilities, with experience in leading and mentoring teams
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with security tools, software, and industry best practices
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CISA
• Experience in conducting security audits, assessments, and compliance activities
• Knowledge of cloud security and emerging security technologies is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to IT security
• Ability to develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies, policies, and procedures
• Experience in conducting risk assessments and recommending mitigation strategies
• Knowledge of security controls (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, access management solutions)
• Ability to design and implement security solutions
• Experience in delivering security awareness training programs
• Familiarity with local data protection and cybersecurity regulations in Singapore
