Accountabilities:
- Discover, catalog, and annotate cloud applications, performing thorough research and analysis.
- Design, develop, and integrate secure cloud applications in on-premises and cloud infrastructures.
- Develop, maintain, and test microservices and REST APIs, ensuring code quality, scalability, and security.
- Utilize containerized environments and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-managed Kubernetes services.
- Automate cloud environment provisioning using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud security frameworks and best practices.
- Document technical findings, configurations, and operational procedures for ongoing reference and compliance.
Requirements:
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in cloud application development, security, or related software engineering roles.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, GoLang, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and multi-cloud deployments.
- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies, virtualization, and web-scale applications.
- Familiarity with containerized and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-managed services).
- Proficiency in Ubuntu or Linux-based operating systems.
- Ability to design, analyze, implement, and maintain secure REST APIs.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with automation, DevOps tools, and cloud security best practices.
